Welcome to the Glasgow Zen Group

We have been advised by Kagyu Samye Dzong (KSD) that the Centre is closed to group activity, apologies but there will therefore be no zazen at the centre until further notice. Also our Introductory Half Days and Chanting Group (detailed below) will not meet at KSD in the meantime. As soon as we have any further news about events and how we can maintain connection in our group we will let you know. We wish you to be well and safe.

You can find out more about our Group through the Group information page, which also gives our contact details. This site will keep you posted about Events, including sesshins, in Scotland and further afield.

On the other hand, if you would like to attend one of our regular sittings, we invite you to do so.

If you are interested in knowing more about Zen, these pages can help. Other materials focus on Dogen and Buddhism as a whole.

Please have a look at our section of Kusen, Koan commentary and Poetry.

Please read a brilliant essay by Issho Fujita on posture from Dharma Eye.
